Various bits to get a swing

I rather like that word.

Sooooo. Now I know two meds that will definitely make me all zombie-like. FTL. FT-epic-L. However, new meds are FTW.

On the other hand, developing hay fever allergies after twenty long, pleasant years of never having them really rather sucks. At least I'm not allergic to kitties, and I don't sneeze my head off like my dad does. Just sniffles and sinus pressure. Still--LAME.

For the time being, I don't have any particular "projects" that I'm dwelling on, despite the header thing. I'm taking a step back from novels for a little while because I've been away from writing (beyond school) since I finished "Homunculus" back in January, and I need to get a new swing. ...And evidently relearn typing, based on how many errors I keep making, damn it all.

Classes go well--well enough for me to figure out my swing. Ethics was shaky, but it's smoothed, and despite my continuing hatred for The Scarlet Letter (oh god, why is this canonical literature? WHY?), English of both varieties rock. And one of my Japanese professors just encouraged me to look into a master's for translation while finally convincing me to go to Japan, so I think things are good there too.

Simply because I haven't heard from folks in a while beside the odd review or watch+, what would you like to see from me? Yes, I'm looking for prompts--I need to get a kickstart, and I'd appreciate it. ...Though anyone who says "OMG, update Taizei ni Buzei already!" may (read: will) be ignored. I got nothing for it right now, unless someone has magical dust that'll make me work on it. All I've got an idea for right now is the odd pokemon story I thought of driving to work today...which I may get to work on eventually.

Aw...my 'scription is going to run out by the end of the month. Damn my complete lack of funds for anything outside the real world!

P.S. Holy crap, I've been living in my apartment for a year already!
P.P.S. Dammit, I need to make a new ID! I've had my hair short for almost a year, and I have a spiffy new hat!
